Bentley has used Monterey Car Week to unveil the one-off Bentayga EWB Mulliner Gallery.
Billed as a tribute to Mulliner, the oldest coachbuilder in the world, the Bentayga EWB has been “transformed into an art gallery on wheels.”
While the crossover doesn’t look too remarkable from the outside, the cabin features airbrushed veneer panels that celebrate Mulliner vehicles. The works of art were originally created by the Mulliner Design team, but they have been painstakingly recreated on wood veneers by Piers Dowell and his protégé Lewis Warby.

As you can see, the various panels pay tribute to the Bacalar, Flying Spur Mulliner, Blower Continuation Series, and the 1939 MkV Corniche. The remaining two panels reside on the dashboard and they flow into the door panel trim to give a wraparound appearance.
Besides the special artwork, the Bentayga EWB Mulliner Gallery features a Portland and Cumbrian Green leather interior with contrast stitching and Bentley embroidery on the backrests. The model, which is based on one of the last pre-production vehicles, also sports Airline Seats which are billed as the “most advanced automotive seats in the world” as they offer 22-way adjustment, an auto climate sensing system, and postural adjustment technology.
Elsewhere, the crossover has a Cumbrian Green paint job, bright chrome accents, and 22-inch polished wheels. The model is also 7 inches (180 mm) longer than the standard Bentayga and this allows for a truly spacious rear passenger compartment.
Power is presumably provided by a familiar twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 542 hp (404 kW / 550 PS) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. It enables the standard Bentayga EWB to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h).
