Bally Sports Sun to air classic Lightning games during 2023 NHL All-Star break Florida & Sun News

TAMPA, Fla. – Bally Sports Sun, the network home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, announced that it will celebrate the team’s 30-anniversary season by re-airing four classic Lightning games during the 2023 NHL All-Star break.

Monday, Jan. 30, 7 pm – Replay of the Lightning’s inaugural game from Oct. 7, 1992, a 7-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at Expo Hall. Chris Kontos scored four goals against future Hall of Fame goalie Ed Belfour.

Tuesday, Jan. 31, 7 pm – Replay of Game 7 of the 2004 Stanley Cup Final when the Lightning clinched their first title. Ruslan Fedotenko scored twice as the Bolts beat the visiting Calgary Flames, 2-1.

Thursday, Feb. 2, 7 p.m. – Replay of Game 6 of the 2020 Stanley Cup Final when the Lightning hoisted their second Cup with a 2-0 win over the Dallas Stars in Edmonton. Brayden Point and Blake Coleman scored, and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 22 saves in the shutout.

Thursday, Feb. 2, 9:30 pm – Replay of Game 5 of the 2021 Stanley Cup, when the Lightning defeated the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 to secure back-to-back titles, this time in front of their home fans. Ross Colton scored the lone goal, and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Vasilevskiy again had a 22-save shutout.
