It’s been a while since NBA 2K17.
The Australian Boomers’ jersey and shorts will appear inside NBA 2K23marking the first time in six years the kit has been featured in the popular basketball franchise.
The gear will be available as an in-game transaction and can be worn by player avatars in MyPLAYER’s current-gen City or last-gen GOAT Boat.
“We are proud to be partnering up with NBA 2K to deliver the iconic Boomers kit to audiences all over the world,” said Basketball Australia CEO Matt Scriven. “The addition of the green and gold uniform will be huge for basketball fans to represent their country NBA 2K23.“
“Representing Australia and wearing a Boomers jersey has always been a goal of mine,” added Australian NBA star, Josh Giddey. “Being able to play NBA 2K23 wearing the Boomers kit, the iconic green and gold, is an amazing addition to the game this year. I cannot wait to walk around The City and bump into fellow Aussies proudly wearing their Boomers jersey.”
The gear will be available inside JT’s Sporting Goods in the current-gen MyPLAYER City, or Rowe’s Sporting Goods in the last-gen GOAT Boat. Pricing was not detailed by 2K at this time.

NBA 2K23 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch on September 9.
