Asos kicks off Black Friday with mobile multi-city experiential pop-up

Asos is kickstarting its Black Friday promotions with an experiential mobile pop-up that will visit Liverpool, London, Nottingham and Manchester.

Visitors will be able to play a claw grabber arcade game to win exclusive prizes, ranging from one of four £1,000 Asos gift cards to branded merchandise from the online fashion giant including selected face and body products.

The event is free to the public, and everyone who takes part will receive an Asos-branded tote bag, as well as a free coffee for those with the Asos app installed.

The pop-up will promote the retailer’s Black Friday deals which follow two weeks of out-of-home advertising campaigns in Manchester and London’s Camden Town.

Opening from 10am to 6pm, the pop-up will be in Liverpool on 21 November, London on 22 November, Nottingham on 23 November, and Manchester on 24 November.

Last month, Asos revealed that it would be axing more than 100 roles as it strives to cut costs across the business.

The retailer entered a 45-day consultation period with impacted staff, with roles impacted across all departments.
