Australian punter Arryn Siposs was injured after a brilliant athletic play in the Philadelphia Eagles’ big 48-22 — and had a few choice words for some New York Giants fans as he was carted off.
The play in question came with just over four minutes left on the clock in the second quarter and with the Eagles forced to punt deep inside their own territory.
Siposs stepped up to punt the ball away but had it blocked, immediately chasing after the ball and scooping it up spectacularly to almost somehow salvage a first down for Philadelphia.

Instead, the Australian was hit late by the swarming Giants defense, injured in the process and later helped off the field.
Some Giants fans though did not have too much sympathy for Siposs when he was carted off, which the Australian understandably did not appreciate.
“F*** you. F*** you, you piece of s***,” he reportedly said.
Siposs was later seen by Philadelphia beat writers post-game in the locker room with a boot on his foot and was also on crutches with what was reported as an ankle injury.
In a later update, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Siposs will be sidelined “a little longer than expected”, with suggestions he could be placed on injured reserve.
If that happens, the Australian would be out for at least four weeks.
It was not the first time Siposs has made a big play this season, impressing the NFL world with a touchdown-saving tackle back in September.
Siposs, who was drafted by St Kilda in 2010, spoke to Fox Sports Australia’s The NFL podcast The Onside Pick about that play earlier this year but played down the blistering speed he showed to chase down Kris Boyd.
“I’ll be honest with you, the one that got blocked that I made the tackle on, I spun (the ball) the wrong way and it was lucky it got blocked instead of Jake kicking it and missing it,” Siposs said.
“I’m fooling everybody, trust me. Instincts kind of kicked in and I was able to chase him down. But I’m fooling everybody, I don’t think I’d be able to do that again.”
