The Anker Mach V1 Ultra cordless vacuum cleaner will shortly be available via a crowdfunding campaign in Japan. The gadget combines vacuuming with 110 °C (~230 °F) steam cleaning to disinfect your floor; Anker claims that the SteamWave Continuous steam and Eco-Clean Ozone technology can remove up to 99.9% of bacteria. The company suggests that the device is a world first, built on the technology it uses in its Eufy range of robot vacuums.
The Mach V1 Ultra has up to 16,800 Pa suction power and can dry the floors after steam cleaning. The vacuum has one-click automatic cleaning, sterilization and drying features to ensure the device remains clean and fresh between uses. According to the company, the device can last for up to 82 minutes on a signal charge in Smart mode thanks to a 7,400 mAh battery. Plus, the vacuum can operate relatively quietly at 65 dB.
The Anker Mach V1 Ultra cordless vacuum cleaner will be available to pre-order in Japan via Makuake for around 114,850 yen (~US$882). Customers who sign up for the Anker newsletter in Japan are eligible to receive 40% off the gadget’s MSRP. The device is also available in China for 5,999 yuan (~US$884). It is unclear whether or not the device could launch in other markets; an ERAC certification for the Mach V1 charging base suggests that the gadget could arrive in Australia.
