Troubled NFL free agent Antonio Brown is being sued for allegedly selling a man a fake $160,000 Richard Mille watch.
A man named Ryan Kane has filed a lawsuit in Broward County, FL. where Brown resides alleging the former football star ‘knew [it] was a fake but represented [the watch] to be genuine.’
In the lawsuit, filed earlier this week, Kane is suing the ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout for fraud, among other things. The plaintiff is seeking $160,000 plus interest for his troubles.
It is claimed Brown sold him the watch ‘on or about July 27, 2022’ while knowing the watch was inauthentic. According to TMZ, the watch was worth a mere ‘couple hundred bucks.’ Per the suit, Kane wired $160,000 to Brown’s company, Boomin Productions, LLC following the agreement.
Less than two months later, Kane is said to have taken the watch for appraisal in Miami, only to learn it was a fake and that Brown had purchased it from Dubai, alongside three other Richard Mille fakes for less than $500 a piece from a dealer .
Brown allegedly told Kane the watch was an RM 011 model worth ‘in excess of $400,000.’ The watch Kane thought he had purchased was released in 2007 in conjunction with Formula 1 driver, Felipe Massa.

In what may come as a surprise to some, Brown has not publicly commented on the matter, despite his constant presence in the spotlight.
Brown won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2020 and is currently an NFL free agent after being cut by Tampa in January.
He had followed ex-New England teammate, Tom Brady, down to Florida in what initially seemed like a happy marriage.
However things have since soured between Brown and Brady — who allowed the former to stay in his family home upon signing for Tampa.
Brown posted a photo to Instagram Monday of him and Gisele Bundchen hugging, in what could only be described as an overt shot at the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Brown posted the risky photo without any context aside from the caption, ‘Put that S**t On,’ referring to his catchy single.
Bundchen, who along with Brady is said to have hired a lawyer ahead of a seemingly imminent divorce, is seen in the picture smiling with her arms wrapped around Brown after Tampa Bay beat Kansas City in the 2021 Super Bowl.
Fans blasted Brown on social media as being ‘disrespectful,’ especially after Brady took his former teammate under his wing both in New England and Tampa. ‘Disrespectful,’ one fan wrote. ‘That man let you in his crib.’

It comes less than a week after footage emerged of Brown thrusting his backside in a woman’s face and exposing his penis to her while vacationing at the Armani Hotel in Dubai on May 14.
The controversy-prone former player made light of the situation, suggesting his performance in the pool proved he’s ready for an NFL comeback.
Brown tweeted Sunday: ‘I’m telling every team that needs some offense to pick up AB bc he’s shown that he still has the ability to expose a D.’ The joke equates the indecent act to his ability to unlock a defense, often referred to as/the ‘D’, as a pass-catcher on the field.
