There have been many who have spoken against vaccination policies around the world. Especially in the light of a few who have terminated employment due to their refusal to take the vaccine. And a former NBA champion, who has been very vocal against vaccination, broke his silence with some stern words on the policies.

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving has been very outspoken on his beliefs on the vaccine. Despite the league making it mandatory to take the vaccine, Irving stood his ground and refused to take it. And this caused him to miss a large chunk of last season, and many expected him to miss the entire season.

And despite all the hate and criticism he received for not taking the vaccine, Irving has never budged from his stance.

Kyrie Irving has been very vocal about his issues with the vaccine. He has never discouraged people from taking the vaccine but he has always said that this was something against his beliefs.

Some reports say that unvaccinated people are not being allowed to work or are reportedly being discriminated against. And this is something that Irving was not okay with. He took to Twitter to talk about the discrimination that unvaccinated people like him are facing.

He said, “If I can work and be unvaccinated, then all of my brothers and sisters who are also unvaccinated should be able to do the same, without being discriminated against, vilified, or fired.”

“This enforced Vaccine/Pandemic is one of the biggest violations of HUMAN RIGHTS in history.”

The former champion had to endure a difficult time last season. First, it was the vaccine mandate which did not allow him to play. And even when he could, he was only allowed to play away games. And after he got cleared for home games as well, Irving and the Brooklyn Nets had to deal with injuries.

This did not bode well for them in the playoffs as the Nets got swept by the Boston Celtics. However, the Nets look prepared this season and they seem to have resolved the uncertainty around the team.
