Disney Gains Exclusive Rights To Over 100 NHL Games

If you love hockey and watch Disney-owned networks, as well as have subscriptions to Disney streaming services, we’ve got some good news for you — you’re about to get a lot MORE hockey in your life!

As in previous years, Disney has struck a deal with the NHL to exclusively broadcast 103 hockey games across ESPN, ESPN+, Hulu, and ABC this fall.

The season will begin October 11th on ESPN with two games: Tampa Bay Lightning vs. the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden and the Los Angeles Kings vs. the Vegas Golden Knights at Crypto.com Arena.

Here are some highlights from the upcoming NHL schedule:

  • October 13th — New Jersey Devils at Philadelphia Flyers (ESPN+/Hulu)
  • October 21st – Tampa Bay Lightning at Florida Panthers (ESPN+/Hulu)
  • October 28th – Winnipeg Jets at Arizona Coyotes (ESPN+/Hulu)
  • November 3rd – Boston Bruins at New York Rangers (ESPN+/Hulu)
  • December 6th – Toronto Maple Leafs at Dallas Stars (ESPN+/Hulu)
