While the 2022-23 NBA season is still weeks away, there is still some competitive basketball being played in EuroBasket 2022 where Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz is playing for his native country of Turkey.
After some drama earlier in Group play where he was ejected and then got into an altercation with some Georgian players, Korkmaz is starting to get back into a groove in terms of being able to score the ball for Turkey.
On Wednesday, they took on Spain, and even though they fell 72-69, Korkmaz was able to have a solid game. He totaled 16 points on 6-for-17 shooting and knocked down three triples with three rebounds and three assists as well.

After shooting just 28.9% from deep in the 2021-22 season, Korkmaz will be looking to bounce back in a big way in the upcoming season. His shooting is going to be a very important piece of whatever the Sixers plan to do on the floor.
