GUILFORD LAKE — The Columbiana girls golf team used a balanced team effort to down United, 192-197, at Twin Springs on Wednesday afternoon.
Izzy Travis and Ellie Jackson both shot 46s to lead the Clippers. Katrina Patrick and Annaka Patrick contributed 50s.
United’s Mati Zines topped all golfers with a 3-over 38. Madison Kibler added a 44, Emma Murphy 54 and Olivia Ashburn 61.
Columbiana (8-4) will play Ursuline today at Stambaugh Golf Course.
West Branch 171, Carrollton 174
BELOIT — West Branch’s girls golf team defeated Carrollton 171-174 Westville Lake on Wednesday.
West Branch is 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference.
Shaylee Muckleroy was the low scorer for West Branch with a 39. Lachlan Cameron shot a 42, Katie Santee a 44 and Lillian Smith a 46.
West Branch will play Marlington on Friday at Tannenhauf.
