WREXHAM AFC co-owner Ryan Reynolds has earned himself even more fans throughout Wales after hitting back at claims the club is an ‘English soccer team’.
Since then, there has been a real buzz both on and off the field in Wrexham, as well as a renewed sense of hope and expectation for the football club.
The pair’s whirlwind takeover journey to date is currently being told via the Welcome To Wrexham documentary which came out last week and will be released two episodes at a time until October.
But if that wasn’t enough to make people love Ryan already, he certainly gave them another reason to on Twitter last week.

Bob Kronbauer – the editor-in-chief of Vancouver is Awesome magazine – posted a picture of his trip to California.
He published a photo of a giant Welcome to Wrexham billboard during his visit, however he made a slight mistake which drew some backlash from Welsh Twitter users.
He said: “It’s Ryan @VancityReynolds on the roof of The Fox and Hounds British pub in Century City! A shrewd location choice for a billboard promoting a show about him and his friend saving an English soccer team.”
That led to a brilliant reply from Ryan (below) …

The Deadpool star simply corrected him, saying: “It’s a Welsh football team, Bob.” followed by a love heart and Welsh flag emoji.
That drew a lot of love from Welsh Twitter users towards Ryan for the correction.
Cloe Chantelle said: “Flying the flag for our little country. Thank you Ryan! If you could take over Swansea City as well while you’re at it that would be great.”
Daniel Lyddon wrote: “Diolch Ryan! Almost half a million Welsh-Canadians and over three million of us back here in the Old Country appreciate you correcting Bob’s geographical shortcoming.”
