One of the places hardcore NBA fans turn to scratch their basketball itch in the so-called dog days of summer for parquet-oriented content is the history of the league. And while it might not be red-letter history of the sort that makes it into the annals of the sport, every game of the 82nd contest season is by definition part of that history.
It can be nearly as dull as the doldrums of summer in the middle of the slow part of a regular season, but sometimes, even then, a tight contest punctuated by a game-winning shot can make slogging through even the dullest contests worth it.
With all of that in mind, the NBA put together a collection of the very best such game winners over the last seven years, the Boston Celtics among them.
