Aftermath of Norway, Denmark soccer tour: Kwankwaso hails

Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has hailed Mailantarki Care Football Club for emerging double champion at the just concluded soccer tour hosted by Norway and Denmark.

The club owned by erstwhile Federal law maker and Gombe State gubernatorial aspirant, Honorable Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, won the youth championship by thrashing Norwegian side, KFUM FK 2-0 after conquering several foes to lift the 2022 Dana Cup hosted by Denmark.

Appraising the boys following the enviable feat, Kwankwaso disclosed the gubernatorial aspirant won’t relent in his bid to promote youths through sports. He however urged citizens to vote for the soccer administrator come next election.

“I’m not surprised to see these huge successes here today knowing fully the Chairman of the club Hon Mailantarki is a soccer lover.

“I want to give kudos to the boys for making the state proud in far away Europe. I’m confident he won’t relent in engaging youth in more meaningful activities. “I want to urge everyone to go get their Permanent Voters Card in order to vote leaders capable of reshaping the state and Nigeria at large.

This trophy is a tip of the iceberg compared to other projects we have in mind. I urge all to keep fingers crossed while we keep promoting the interests of the masses,” he said while hosting the team at his Abuja residence.
