Women’s Soccer Plays Towson to Draw

WASHINGTON – The George Washington women’s soccer team battled Towson for 90 minutes, but neither side was able to find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw from GW Soccer Field on Thursday.

For the second-straight game, GW’s defensive backline was sparkling. The Buff & Blue kept CAA Preseason Player of the Year Nia Christopher scoreless throughout the game, while holding Towson to just three shots on goal. GW has allowed just one goal through its first three games, which is the fewest allowed in the first three contests since 2018.
