BLISSFIELD — Onsted boys soccer picked up a Lenawee County Athletic Association rivalry win Wednesday as it beat Blissfield, 4-1.
The Wildcats improved to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in league play after they led 2-1 at the half and netted two more goals in the second half.
The Royals fell to 0-3 on the season and 0-1 in league play.

BROOKLYN — The Redwolves exploded in the second half as they beat the Golden Eagles in LCAA play.
Clinton led 1-0 going into the half, but the only goal came in the first three minutes on a Merrik Gibson goal off an assist from Mattis Riddle.
Riddle got things going again in the second half with an assist to Ryan Tschirhart in the 48th minute. The two connected once again soon after with Gibson scoring before Tschirhart set up Gibson’s header once again to make it 4-0. Gibson scored once again while Tschirhart fed Riddle to finish off the scoring.

ADRIAN — The Maples picked up a sweep as they handled the Big Red in Set 1 before they won close sets in two and three, 25-12, 25-23, 25-22.

IGL Jamboree no. 3 at Columbia Central
BROOKLYN — Lenawee Christian pulled out a slim, two-stroke win in the third Independent Golf League jamboree this season, this time at Clark Lake Golf Course.
The Cougars shot a team score of 181 to narrowly top the host Golden Eagles (183). Clinton took third (228), followed by Hillsdale (258) and Onsted (292). Madison, Hudson and Concord did not have enough golfers to post a team score.

Pittsford Early Bird Invite
PITTSFORD — The Madison boys cross country team won the Pittsford Early Bird Invite while Sand Creek and Morenci also competed at the meet.
Trojans senior Henry Frederick took second overall to lead the boys team with a score of 53, followed by Jonesville (59), Morenci (67), Concord (68), Jackson Prep (145), Colon (150) and Sand Creek 157.
Pittsford won the girls race with a score of 44 followed by Sand Creek (55), Concord (63), Jackson Prep (73) and Jonesville (96).
