Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to buy a golf clubhouse only so he can knock it down – as it spoils his view.
The Sun reports that Ronaldo, 37, is planning on moving his 12,000 sq ft property at Quinta da Marinha next year.
Ronaldo has been consistently linked with a move away from Old Trafford. He currently lives in Cheshire with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children.
It has been reported that Ronaldo’s lawyers are in negotiations with Oitavos Golf Club and their owner Miguel Champalimaud as he looks to demolish it and build a driveway to his crib.
The publication has quoted a source saying: “The clubhouse was a problem for him so he wants the problem removed. Cost is not an issue – he is a perfectionist who can afford perfection.”
