SSP hands over 30 recovered mobile phones to owners – Jammu Kashmir Latest News | Tourism

KATHUA, Aug 24: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) RC Kotwal today handed over 30 recovered mobile phones worth around Rs 4 lakh to their legitimate owners.
Addressing a press conference, SSP RC Kotwal said that Kathua Police recovered 30 android mobile phones with a purchase value of approximately around Rs 4 lakh for which missing complaints were registered in various Police Stations of District Kathua.
“On receiving their missing/lost mobile phones, the owners felt elated and expressed their gratitude towards Kathua Police and especially to SSP Kathua for their arduous effort in tracing out their missing mobiles”, SSP said, adding that missing mobile phones belong to owners who are from Kathua and Samba areas and these mobile phones have been recovered from different areas of Samba and Kathua.
SSP Kathua RC Kotwal along with other officers later handed over these recovered mobile handsets to their rightful owners after proper verifications. These phones have been recovered by using technical assistance.
