The second half of Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 kicked off yesterday, adding Crypto to the lineup and introducing a new battle pass full of new challenges and gorgeous new cosmetics. Similar to the Distortion battle pass, the Hyperbeat battle pass’s cosmetics have a musical theme with a pink and purple cyberpunk aesthetic–clearly a nod to Season 2’s new legends: the music-loving Rhapsody and tech-obsessed Crypto.
As with previous seasons, the Hyperbeat battle pass contains 50 levels of rewards, and comes in two forms: the Premium Pass and the Premium Plus Pass. The standard Premium Pass costs 750 Syndicate Gold (roughly $7.50 USD) and will instantly give players access to:
- the Hyperbeat battle pass’s premium reward track
- the Shock Jock Mirage legend skin (Legendary)
- the Violet Meter Mastiff Shotgun weapon skin (Legendary)
The Premium Plus Pass costs 1,599 Syndicate Gold (roughly $15.99 USD) and gives players access to all rewards included in the Premium Pass, along with the following bonus rewards:
- a Premium Plus Pass-exclusive user avatar (Legendary)
- an 80% EXP boost for the entirety of the season
- 500,000 bonus XP, which will instantly unlock 10 additional battle pass levels
Because the Premium Plus Pass instantly catapults players to level 11 of the Hyperbeat battle pass, those who purchase it will be starting off the season with:
- 150 Syndicate Gold
- Stat trackers for Rhapsody, Crypto, Mirage, and Lifeline
- the Drum Solo Lifeline banner frame (Epic)
- 40 Flux
- the Mix Fit Rhapsody legend skin (Rare)
- the Noisy Refrain Mozambique weapon skin (Rare)
- the Sleek Cans weapon charm (Rare) the Remote Hack Crypto holospray (Rare)
- 10 Syndicate Pack Pieces (equivalent to 1 Syndicate Pack)
- 12 Mission Cards

Crypto Fragments come in sets of two, and can be used to unlock Crypto. 10 total Crypto Fragments must be acquired to unlock the new legend. By level 25, you will have enough Crypto Fragments to unlock him. Alternatively, you can pay 750 Syndicate Gold to unlock him instantly. You will still be rewarded with Crypto Fragments even after unlocking him, but at the end of the season, the Crypto Fragments will become Legendary Fragments–meaning you can use 10 of them to unlock any legend you like. This is an excellent method for unlocking legends from previous seasons if you don’t want to buy them all individually.
Crypto Fragments can be found at levels 1, 9, 13, 17, and 25.
Mission Cards come in sets of four, and can be used to instantly complete battle pass challenges. But starting this season, Mission Cards will no longer stick around between seasons. Because of this, you’ll want to make sure you use any Mission Cards you earn this season before the Hyperbeat battle pass expires, as those Mission Cards will expire right along with it.
Mission Cards can be found at levels 6, 7, 11, 16, 18, 21, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31, 33, 39 (x2), and 43.
Syndicate Gold, the game’s premium currency, comes in sets of 50 coins. Syndicate Gold can be found at levels 2, 4, 9, 13, 16, 19, 23, 26, 29, 33, 38, 41, 43, 46, and 49. At level 49, players will receive 100 coins instead of 50 .
flow, another in-game currency, can be used to redeem cosmetic skins in the “Crafting” section of the in-game store. Flux comes in sets of 20, and can be found at levels 4, 6, 19, 23, 27, 37, 41, 42, and 48 (x2).
Pack Pieces come in sets of 5, and 10 Pack Pieces can be combined to create 1 Syndicate Pack. Pack Pieces are unlocked at levels 2, 3, 12, 14, 21, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38, 42, and 44.
Syndicate Packswhich randomly unlock cosmetics and other rewards when opened, can be found at levels 37 and 47.
Players who complete the Hyperbeat battle pass will obtain a total of:
- 10 Crypto Fragments
- 60 Mission Cards
- 800 Syndicate Gold
- 200 Flux
- 60 Pack Pieces (equivalent to 6 Syndicate Packs)
- 2 Syndicate Packs (equivalent to a total of 8 Syndicate Packs when combined with the Pack Pieces)
