The Red Sox currently own a 60-62 record, which puts them in last place in the American League East and six games off the pace in the wild-card race. On Tuesday night, they’ll begin a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park.
From there, they’ll host the Tampa Bay Rays for three games before leaving for a quick trip to Minnesota. Boston will wrap up its regular season with series against the Texas Rangers, Rays, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds and Blue Jays.
Wins could be hard to come by for the Red Sox during that stretch. It took them until their recent series vs. the Yankees to finally earn a multi-game series win over a divisional opponent. Most of their remaining regular-season matchups will be against AL East foes.
