Vermont Business Magazine The 31st Annual University of Vermont Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament raised $186,947 to support the world-class care offered to pediatric patients in our region. The event, held at Burlington Country Club, was co-sponsored by 24 organizations, including the presenting sponsor, Farrington Construction.

“We are so grateful to everyone who participated in this fund-raising and friend-raising golf tournament for our UVM Children’s Hospital,” said Dr. Lewis First, MD, Chief of Pediatrics at the UVM Children’s Hospital. “Every dollar raised by this event will go a long way in providing the programs, services, and equipment that truly make a difference when it comes to improving the physical, mental, and social needs of the children and families we serve.”

The UVM Children’s Hospital Golf Classic brings golfers of all skill levels together to “drive for miracles one swing at a time.” Through sponsorship, team registration, charitable donations, on-course contests and a silent auction, the Golf Classic helps provide the most advanced patient- and family-centered care for pediatric patients throughout Vermont and northern New York. 100% of the funds raised stay right here benefiting children and families in need.
