It would be fair to say that LeBron James has taken to his nickname, The King. The man has it in his Instagram handle, after all. And considering how amazing the nickname sounds, no one would be able to blame him, either. However, it seems he has taken his appreciation for the moniker to another level by getting a piece of interesting jewelry in his honor.
Bleacher Report on Twitter shared images of LeBron’s new tooth implant. James has gotten a crown implanted into one of his teeth. Going into his 20th season, LeBron doesn’t have a whole lot left to prove, and it seems he’s embracing his identity as the king of the hill while he’s still not in decline. As with anything LeBron, fans had a lot to say in response, with some loving it and others hating it.
“Let the world know, King.”
“This actually goes hard asf.”
“I know it’s been said a bit before, but Kobe and MJ would never man.”
“Always wanted to get something like this on my teeth too.”
“So this is what an early midlife crisis looks like for one LeBron James, huh?”
“Yo, this is dope, bro.”

“LeBron James is the hardest player in the NBA, bro.”
“That’s actually quite nice.”
“Kinda weird to be almost 40 doing this, but he’s LeBron James, so he can do whatever he wants.”
Reactions to something like this will always be a mixed bag, but Bron has been around too long to worry about any of that. His confidence in himself is what has allowed him to reach the heights he has, and it’s fun to see that it’s continuing going into Year 20. The NBA world might just have not seen the best of the King yet.
