ST MELYD Golf Club marked its 100th anniversary with a special “Party in the Paddock” on Saturday (August 20), with a special appearance from the mysterious “Mirror Man”.
Dressed, as ever, head to toe in a reflective silver outfit, Mirror Man, who has been spotted across Denbighshire and throughout North Wales in recent months, was one of numerous guests.
More than 500 people attended the event to enjoy the club’s centenary celebrations, including many families.
The line-up on the outdoor stage included The Cheese Cutters, The Old Scrotes, the George Formby Society, and many more.

Offa’s Paddock, the golf club’s catering partner, served street food, while there was a full bar service all day.
Gabby Waring, of St Melyd Golf Club, hailed a special day, even if the event left residents none the wiser as to the true identity of Mirror Man.
She said: “The occasion was a major success for the golf club and the local community.
“Congratulations and appreciation goes to the organizers, namely Peter Kenway, Debbie Harper, Julia Smith and her bar and catering team.”
St Melyd Golf Club is based at The Paddock, Prestatyn.
