The Boston Celtics were absolutely gassed by the time they got to the 2022 NBA Finals, losing to the Golden State Warriors in six games with little in the way of legs left after a brutal path through the top of the Eastern Conference seeds to make the league’s biggest stage.
But the Celtics may have gotten some positive news when the NBA released the schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season, with league analyst Ed Kupfer recently. sharing that by his estimation the Celtics will have among one of the most favorable schedules in the league in terms of difficulty of opponents.
Per Kupfer, Boston has the fourth-most strength of schedule for the 2022-23 season, behind only the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Just ahead of the Atlanta Hawks, the Celtics find themselves with one of the easiest regular seasons ahead of them of projected contending teams in the Eastern Conference, which will likely be much appreciated by the time their season ends against the Atlanta Hawks on Easter Day, April 9.
