NBA G League salary in 2022
The guys in the tournament are not paid equally. However, there are scales used in 2022 to ensure that players are paid according to their ability. The following are the scales used normally to pay lads.
- Select Player
Stars in this group sign a contract for approximately $125,000. Lads on this contract must be at least 18 years old and are considered elite due to their talent and ability. This is also the NBA G League minimum salary.
When the season is in full swing, the base pay is generally for five months and does not include additional benefits such as call-up compensation. This new select contract is designed for athletes who do not attend college and instead opt to play in the G championship.

2. Two-Way Player
This group of guys starts with a base of select players valued at $125,000. This includes a prorated share of the NBA’s minimum wage, which was $582,000 in 2019. So, if a player takes 100 maximum days to reach the level of $582,000 minimum salary, they will earn $5820 daily.
3. Assignment Player
Lads in this group are typically top-flight ballers with at least three years of experience assigned to a G championship associate team for some time. This could be due to rehabilitation, playtime, discipline, development, or the creation of a roster position.
NBA teams normally own this baller’s contract and can relocate him as they see fit, depending on the team’s requirements. Top flight ballers on assignment are paid their regular NBA salary.
4. Draft Rights Player
The G League picks lads under 18 under the Draft’s rights division. These G championship Draft participants have yet to be selected in the Draft.

A player in the G League contract can earn the lowest salary is $7000/month. This is the regular amount in the Basic Contract for G championship Drafted Players.
