Participants at Preston North End Community and Education Trust’s Soccer School and Activity Zone received special visitors last week – with Ben Whiteman and Greg Cunningham attending the camp!
Our Soccer School and Activity Zone is running until Tuesday 30th August, welcoming children with exciting football training activities under the supervision of our fully qualified, DBS checked coaches.
Meanwhile, in our Activity Zone, participants have been playing in multi-sports games and taking part in arts and crafts activities to keep them engaged over the summer period.
And children were given a day to remember as Whiteman and Cunningham spent time with the participants last Thursday.
Our No.4 and No.3, respectively, answered children’s questions and handed out autographs to provide them with a special memory of the day.
Participants enrolled on our Traineeship program were also in attendance on the day and were greeted by the first team pair. Our ten-week Traineeship programs is providing 16 to 24-year-olds with unique work placement opportunities to help them become more employable, and they have recently been coaching across our summer provision.
The camp is running from Monday to Friday during the week beginning Monday August 22nd, with the final day of delivery on Tuesday August 30th. Camp won’t run on Monday 29th August as it is a Bank Holiday.
Places are now only available for the final day of camp on Tuesday 30th August, in both our Soccer School and Activity Zone, which are available by calling 01772 693309 or by visiting PNE.Com/SoccerSchoolBooking.
