In high school golf at a Northern Tier League meet at Shepard Hills, Wellsboro finished third as a team with a 381 score and North Penn-Mansfield finished fourth (406). Athens (350) won and Wyalusing (369) took second. Cowanesque finished fifth (410), ahead of Towanda (436) and Sayre (503).
For Cowanesque Valley, junior Nick West led the team with an 87 and Jordan Vargeson shot a 94. Adam Maynard shot a 111 and Kaden Cole had a 118. North Penn-Mansfield was led by Andy Hermansen’s 88 and Andrew Green’s 91.
Mansfield’s Danny Harman and Bryanna Johnson each shot a 115 and Talon DeAngelo had a 112.
Wellsboro senior Sam Rudy shot a 92, junior Hannalee Cleveland shot a 94 and junior Hayden Zuchowski shot a 95.
