But money is not something that would lure in Woods. Meanwhile, a few other players have stayed back in the PGA Tour too, and since Woods is one of the senior most golfers on the PGA, he is expected to be in the upcoming PGA Tour meeting.

Woods is an integral part of the PGA Tour. The golf legend has been on the tour since he was 16 years old, and he played his first match in the 1992 Nissan Los Angeles Open at Riviera Country Club. And so, everyone on the official board of members, including PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan, considers Woods a crucial part of the tour.

According to golf writer and author Alan Shipnuck, who was also recently in controversy after writing Phil Mickelson’s biography, Woods is going to “fly in” for a special meeting soon.

The meeting could be about the LIV Golf controversy which has been going on for a long time. The recent incident where LIV players filed a lawsuit against the PGA Tour might also be a matter of discussion. As per Shipnuck, the meeting is supposed to be about “the major championship boycotts to Monahan’s future to a larger compromise”. However, there is no explanation as to what compromises he is talking about here. The fans would have to wait until any official statements are released after the meeting.
