PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh men’s soccer program, ranked No. 7 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, had four matches selected for national broadcast on the ACC Network (ACCN) in 2022, as announced by the league office late last week.
Pitt’s Backyard Brawl contest against West Virginia Aug. 29 (7 pm) will be the first appearance on the network, while the Panthers Oct. 7 (8 pm) home match against Clemson will also be broadcast to a national audience. Road contests at Louisville (Sept. 23 – 8 pm) and at Duke (Oct. 21 – 8 pm) will also be aired on the ACC Network.
In addition to its ACCN appearances, Pitt’s eight other home games will be carried on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), the network’s digital arm available on the ESPN app.
