Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum included in NBA video of 2021-22’s best footwork

Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum has made a name for himself in the NBA for a lot of skills that readily come to mind, from his excellent handle and deadly long-distance shot to his ability to get to the cup and more recently passing the rock out of increasingly frequent double teams.

But the Celtics star is also exceptionally skilled with his footwork, a fundamental aspect of the sport sometimes overlooked by even its best players. Tatum, however, has put on a show a few times with his footwork as recently as last season, and it caught the attention of the videographers in the league office.

Those examples of the St. Louis native leaving his opponents in the dust with his rock-solid fundamentals made the cut of some of the best footwork deployed by players in the 2021-22 season.

Watch the clip embedded above to see Tatum go to work along with several other NBA luminaries of today.
