Neville took aim once again at the Glazers, the family that owns United, and asked them to face the music in England.
However, Redknapp believed Neville simply cannot deflect away from the abysmal performance from the players themselves.
It resulted in a spicy clash between the two as United is now left scrambling for answers once again.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said players from rival clubs wouldn’t want to come to Manchester United after watching the first half.
“At this moment in time, it’s really desperate. There’s no leadership, there’s no voice, you can’t blame the individual player or the manager, you’ve got to look above and look to the very top,” Neville said.
“This week, they’re going to get peppered those players, the coach, the sporting department, the new CO – they’re all going to get peppered. But there’s a family over there in America who are just literally letting their employees take all the hits for them – and that is unforgivable.
“Joel Glazer has got to get on a plane … get over to Manchester and he’s got to start to divert the issues away from the club and tell everybody what the hell this plan is with the football club. What is he doing?”
Those comments sparked a heated debate between Redknapp and Neville.
Redknapp: I get that, but you can’t…
Neville … well, you haven’t got the players before the break though, Jamie.
JR: You can’t be blaming the owners when the players are putting up performances like that.
GN: Jamie, you haven’t got … Jamie …
JR: When you’re a player, do you actually think to yourself…
GN: Jamie…
JR: No let me just ask you a question…
GN: … you haven’t got players before the break.
JR: When you’re a player… We didn’t win a league for 30 years at Liverpool, right – just look at me when I’m talking to you! – we didn’t win a league for 30 years, right?
GN: Jamie, you haven’t got the players before the break…
JR: … so we went through it. I’m not having a go at the players, but they have to take responsibility. When you’re a player…
GN: How many times…
JR: … do you think ‘oh I wonder what Joel Glazer’s doing tomorrow?’ …
GN: How many times are we going to sit here…
JR: … I wouldn’t care less. You have to do better for the team when you play.
GMN: How many times are we going to sit here and say those players lack leadership, personality?
JR: How many times are you going to say they need to get rid of the owners?
GN: But they’ve proven it…
JR: They’ve spent 1 trillion pounds on the team!
GN: They’ve proven they can’t handle these players, so they needed to have a good transfer market. They’ve not had a good transfer market.
JR: It was Ed Woodward’s fault, he’s now gone. Who’s fault is it now?
GN: Well when then business if failing and it’s not performing, it’s the owners of that business – it’s really simple. It’s failing miserably.
JRL They keep spending money on the players, Gary. You can’t keep blaming…
GN: Jamie… Jamie…
JR: You can’t keep saying it’s about … do you think they go and everything’s going to be great on this pitch?
GN: They took 24 million quid out of the club about two months ago. We’ve got now a decrepit, rotting stadium that is, to be fair, second-rate when it was the best stadium in the world 15, 20 years ago. You’ve got a football project where they haven’t got a clue, you’ve put bankers in charge of the football club not making football decisions. They’ve not appointed a sporting director. We can look at the players all you like, but there are that many big things that need to be put right first, they’ve got to show up and basically face the music. Now’s the time. You can’t keep hiding over in Tampa and thinking that nothing’s going to come back to you.
JR: “I get that about the owners, but you can’t keep saying its nothing to do with the players.”
GN: “Jamie, I’ve heard you criticize Daniel Levy at Tottenham when they failed over a long period of time because they’ve had failure over 20, 30 years. That’s fact. So my point is, they’ve failed at Man Utd for ten years. The club is rotten.”
JR: “But he (Levy) has got it right – you know why. He’s done what you should’ve done and got Antonio Conte in, but you didn’t want to touch him. He would’ve come here and got those players in better shape than what they are.”
GN: “He’s (Levy) built an unbelievable stadium, got the best training ground in the country, he’s appointed a fantastic sporting director…”
JR: “He’s got a lot wrong …”
GN: “Hang on a minute, he’s built an unbelievable stadium that’s the best in the world, he’s built a training ground that’s to die for, he’s brought in a sporting director who knows what he’s doing now got a manager who suits what they want to do at this moment in time. Man Utd are the opposite of that.”
