The Chicago Blackhawks today announced the team has agreed to terms on one-year contract extensions with the defenseman Caleb Jones ($1,350,000 salary cap hit) and forward Philip Kurashev (FIHL-ihp KUHR-uh-shehv; $750,000 salary cap hit) that each run through the 2022-23 season.

Jones, 25, made his Blackhawks debut last season, setting career highs in goals (5), assists (10) and points (15) in 51 contests. Kurashev, 22, played in his second NHL season with the Blackhawks during the 2021-22 campaign, setting career bests in assists (15) and points (21) through 67 contests.
