Boston Celtics alumnus Jarell Eddie to sign with Turkish club Beysu Konyaspor

Boston Celtics short-timer Jarell Eddie signed to play for Beysu Konyaspor, a Turkish team from the city of Konya that plays in the Basketball Super League (BSL) according to a recent report from Alberto De Roa of our sister site HoopsHype.

The one-time Virginia Tech standout had bounced around the league with multiple stops in the G League and with the Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns after going undrafted in 2014. He then signed a 10-day contract with Boston in January 2018. Eddie only appeared in two games with the Celtics that season, recording a single rebound and steal across 6 minutes of floor time. He missed his only shot attempt with the team, a 3-pointer.

The Tampa, Florida, native has since had stops with the Chicago Bulls, and overseas with SIG Strasbourg, Murcia, Fenerbahçe, San Pablo Burgos and Beysu Konyaspor. He has also played with the Celtics on their summer league team.
