Today, MLB The Show 22 receives its 13th update across all platforms (1.13 on PlayStation), which brings fixes to various parts of the game, including online multiplayer modes.
According to an official blog post by San Diego Studios, MLB The Show Update 13 goes live today, but before you can download the update, there will be server maintenance across all platforms starting at 4 am PT/7 am ET/11 am UTC/ 1 pm CEST. The duration of downtime has not been specified by the developer. Unfortunately, there is no official information regarding the file size of the update on various platforms.
As official patch notes reveal, the new update brings fixes to online Head-To-Head mode, co-op mode, Road to the Show, and Stadium Creator. Probably the most important fix is related to the Head-To-Head mode where a bug would cause a runner to score on a foul ball, resulting in an unfair PvP match.
Below, you can take a look at the full patch notes of MLB The Show 22 update 1.13 for today (August 9):
ONLINE HEAD-TO-HEAD
- Fixed a bug that could cause a runner to score on a foul ball.
CO-OP

ROAD TO THE SHOW
- Fixed an issue that could display button inputs in the incorrect order when altering/viewing CBP’s Pitch Repertoire in the front-end menus.
NINTENDO SWITCH
- Fixed several freezes that could occur when using the on-screen keyboard in co-op games.
STADIUM CREATOR
- Added 89 new Minor League themed props. You can find them all if you search for “minorleaguekit” in the Stadium Creator Editor.
MISCELLANEOUS

The regular season of MLB in real life is expected to come to an end earlier in October, which means probably more players will either join or return to MLB The Show 22 by then as the hype for playoffs reaches its peak soon.
We can probably expect more new special content in MLB The Show 22 for the next few months that could properly satisfy fans as the real-world tournament progresses.
