The Mets start a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park on Friday night as they take on the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:05 pm

Who is starting for the Mets?

Kodai Senga, who has been the Mets’ most consistent starter this season. Senga is coming off a so-so outing against the St. Louis Cardinals his last time out, allowing four earned runs in 6.2 innings.

Senga, who has a 3.53 season ERA, pitched seven shutout innings while allowing just one hit in his only other start against the Phillies this season.

Who is starting for the Phillies?

Taijuan Walker, whose Phillies tenure got off to a rough start, although he is pitching much better as of late. In his past six starts, Walker has pitched to a 1.75 ERA, including eight innings of one-run ball his last time out against Oakland.

In his first start against the Mets this season, Walker allowed three earned runs in just 4.0 innings.
