Coldwater Athletic Boosters Golf Outing raises nearly $15K for Coldwater Athletics

COLDWATER — The Coldwater Cardinal Booster Club held their 22nd annual Golf Outing last Monday at the Coldwater Golf Course.

“On behalf of the Booster Club, the coaches and the athletes, we want to thank the 120 participants. Southern Michigan Bank and Trust and the numerous other sponsors of this year’s event,” said a statement from the Booster Club.

This year’s event raised a total of $14,835 with all proceeds going towards various Coldwater Athletic Programs.

Winners for the event included:

Men’s Division-

First Place: the team of Randy Spangler, Brien Kelly, Ken Smoker and Benny Luce

Second Place: the team of Jim Gordon, Daniel Gordon, John Rakocy and Corey Clemens

Third Place: the team of Steve Covell, Ted Gordon, Ron Budd and Dustin Scharer

Women’s Division-

First Place: the team of Denise Kinsey, Monica Granger, Erin Somerlott and Nancy Murdock

Mixed Division-

First Place: the team of Aaron Downs, Monica Downs, Dan Swick and Kim Bystry
