The 2023 NFL schedule reveal is coming soon, but a German newspaper seems to have revealed a potential date for the Kansas City Chiefs’ international game.
The Bild’s Max Schrader has confirmed previous reports that the Chiefs will face the Chicago Bears in Germany. They also say that the other game will be between the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots.
They’ve also added two more new details.
The first is that the game will either be played on either November 12th or November 19th. Those are Week 10 and Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season, respectively. The Chiefs-Bears game will be played during one of those weeks and the Saints-Patriots game during the other. That’s notable for planning purposes, but it’s not exact enough that we’d tell you to start booking plane tickets.
The second detail is that both of the games will be played in Frankfurt, Germany. This is notable being that the Chiefs and the Hunt family have a relationship with FC Bayern, who make their home in Munich at Allianz Arena, where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Seattle Seahawks game was played last year.
Bild also had some information to share on the 2024 matchup in Germany to be held in Munich. They say a game will be played between the Chiefs and Carolina Panthers during the 2024 season.
Alas, we’ll find out the exact information on the upcoming game soon enough. It’s probably a little too early for that information on Kansas City and Carolina.
