Some Chromebooks are lightweight and ultra-portable, while others are bricks. The Lenovo 14e falls somewhere in the middle at a little over 3 pounds. It also packs a 14-inch full HD display, so students can stream their favorite shows in 1920 x 1080 pixels. It’s right on par with the average Chromebook with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage, but with nearly everything being stored in the cloud (Google Drive comes with 15GB for free), it isn’t a huge deal. Plus, it comes with two USB-C and two USB-A ports, so you can expand the storage if necessary.

While the Lenovo 14e Chromebook(opens in a new tab) isn’t going to run power-sucking apps like Photoshop, it should be plenty capable for schoolwork, basic tasks, and media consumption — which is what most students need it for. Plus, at $150, it’ll be hard to find a better deal.
