Sophomore Angelina Kim led Holy Angels to the Big North Conference girls golf championship and captured the individual title.
Kim shot an even-par 70 at Valley Brook Golf Course in River Vale to finish one stroke ahead of another All-North Jersey standout, junior Marisa Flores of Immaculate Heart.
Kim and Holy Angels carded a shoot-five, count-four score of 10-over 290, while Bergen Tech was runner-up with 307 and Immaculate Heart third at 317 in the nine-team Championship Flight.
For Holy Angels, sophomore Inha Jun shot 72, and senior Amelia Shen and Olivia Lee each shot 74, while Sharanya Agarwal had 78. All five Angels finished in the top 10 among the 76 players who posted scores.
Kim, who last year placed fourth at the NJSIAA Championship, had four birdies and four bogeys to edge Flores, who had three birdies and four bogeys. Jun and Bergen Tech’s Bella Crespo were a stroke behind with 72.
In the Adjusted Flight, Wayne Valley won with 307, Ramsey was runner-up with 316 and Passaic Tech third with 319.

Congratulations to Bergen Tech senior Freddie Cicoria, who had a hole-in-one Wednesday at Paramus GC. Cicoria aced the 125-yard fifth hole in a match against Fair Lawn.
