Pacers’ Rick Carlisle in awe of Sixers star Joel Embiid after huge performance

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid delivered again on Saturday night on the road. With the Sixers being short-handed missing both James Harden and PJ Tucker due to injuries, Embiid delivered another easy performance.

The big fella had 31 points on 10-for-15 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists to lead the Sixers to a 141-121 win over the Indiana Pacers on the road. Philadelphia has now won eight in a row and is sitting comfortably as the No. 3 seed in the East standings.

Embiid did all of that in just 30 minutes as he didn’t have to play in the fourth quarter for the second consecutive game and for the third time in the last four games. After Embiid victimized his team, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle was just in awe of what he’s doing out on the floor at the moment.

Embiid is just another level at the moment. He continues to throw the Sixers on his back and if he continues to play at this level and Philadelphia continues to win at this pace, he will certainly make a convincing case to win the MVP award.
