Carolina won 4-1 against Boston in its last game. Its defense smothered the Bruins limiting Boston to just 25 shots. Sebastian Aho scored a goal in his fourth straight game to start the night. Carolina dominated the entire game scoring the first three goals. Goalie Frederik Andersen was clutch as well making 24 saves. Carolina must be feeling unstoppable right now.
The Kings are still in a good position coming into this one, only one point out of first in the Pacific behind Seattle. The Kings are trying to bounce back from a 5-2 loss to Tampa though. It was the Lightning’s franchise record 12th straight win at home. It was 3-1 after the first period and Tampa never looked back. Now they play another hot coastal team on the road tonight.
