At this point, Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans are used to some of the team’s best and most iconic players not getting the respect and attention they deserve on a national, league-wide level.
Some of the NFL’s best players of many different generations have treated Bucs fans to elite football on a weekly basis, only to be ignored by Pro Bowl ballots, All-Pro voters, and even Hall of Fame considerations.
The Bucs have had tons of underrated players on both sides of the ball over the years, but which one takes the top spot?
We asked Bucs fans for their choice, and here’s what they said:
Simeon Rice had 122 sacks across 12 seasons and was a key member of that historic Super Bowl winning defense in 2002 and is somehow not a HOFer. https://t.co/5QjXKn6pm3

Nationwide – Easily LaVonte, Ali also deserved a lot more national attention. By Bucs fans – Joe J. – He was so key to the ’02 Championship, always wonder how good he would have been without the injuries.

Lavonte David. Guy is just as good as Luke Keuchly and Bobby Wagner but only got a sliver of the recognition or praise.

Mike Evans. Ronde Barber. Ali Marpet. Simeon Rice. Just to name a few. Especially at a national level. Incredible players who often don’t get nearly the attention they deserve if they played in a market like Dallas. New York. Pittsburgh or Philly.
