DAVE BRIGGS: Everybody buckle up. Next week is going to be a big one for the markets. Some huge tech earnings, the Fed decision, the January unemployment rate. Guys, there is the calendar as it is laid out. Look at Wednesday. You got Meta. Thursday’s really in focus, though. Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Starbucks, Ford.

I am watching the job numbers. We’ve talked about the layoffs. We’ve seen them primarily in the tech industry. We noted today that Boeing is adding 10,000 employees. We noted that Hasbro is cutting back. Really want to see if the Fed’s work is paying off, if that number– I don’t think so. I think it’s going to stay hot. Unemployment’s going to stay around 3 and 1/2 at a 50-year low. What are you watching?

Sean Smith: Yeah, definitely something to keep in mind for next week. I’m watching Apple. We talk about the tech sector– huge focus here for earnings season. Microsoft kicked it off this week. Apple, again, we’re expected to see a bit of slowing here for the quarter. Revenue expected to fall about 1.7%. We’ll see whether or not they disappoint.

Jared Blake: It’s all about the Fed. I am watching the Fed and whether or not– well, Jay Powell and company, they don’t like stocks up high. Guess what happened this year? Are they going to pour cold water? We’ll see.

Sean Smith: We will certainly see. We’ll be covering it all here on Yahoo Finance Live. Well, that’ll do it for us this week. Thanks so much for tuning in.
