Rankings
In the first installment of the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) rankings Monday afternoon, the men were slated No. 2 while the women claimed the No. 10 spots. Texas Tech is one of two teams (Kentucky) to have its men and women programs ranked inside the top 10.
The men hold three of the nation’s top indoor marks following the weekend. Lindsey remains the nation’s 200m leader at 20.41, Bradford with his pole vault mark and the men’s 4x400m team.
On the Lookout
As mentioned earlier, Rogers and Omlin will be the only multi athletes competing this weekend for Tech. Rogers joined the Red Raiders last season from Houston Christian, competing outdoors. In the decathlon at the Big 12 Championships, Rogers finished with a point total of 7,520 points, putting him third all-time in the Tech record book.
U20 World Champion (110m hurdles) Antoine Andrews from the Bahamas is poised to make his Red Raider debut this weekend running in the 60m hurdles. The 19-year old signed with Tech back in November.

The women’s weight throw crew will look to continue their strong start to the season. Last week, Malin Smith (weight throw) and Field Gatlin (shot put) each notched personal best marks. In the mile race, Edward Rush and Halena Rahman are coming off personal bests and are slated to go again.
