Virginia Tech set to compete against Penn State in weekend dual

BLACKSBURG – The No. 13 Virginia Tech men and No. 23 Virginia Tech women’s swimming and diving teams will face the Penn State Nittany Lions this Saturday at 10 am during a dual meet located at McCoy Navatorium.

After their strong start to the second half of the season, the Hokies moved up in the CSCAA polls released this afternoon. The Hokie men jumped up six spots from No. 19 to No. 13 and the women made it back on the top 25 board to No. 23.

The Hokies are taking momentum from their successful meet against the Cavaliers into this weekend’s meet. The Hokie men defeated UVA 162-138. The women fell just short, 91-207, but put up a tough fight against the No. 1 Cavalier women.
