ASUS has introduced the Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED (TP3604) slim notebook. The novelty is equipped with a touchscreen that opens 360 degrees, thanks to which it can be used not only as a laptop, but also as a tablet. The device is based on the latest 13th generation Intel Core processors.
The Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED features a 16-inch NanoEdge OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 3.2K (3200 × 2000 pixels), a response time of 0.2ms and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The matrix is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass NBT.
The screen is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified and 100% DCI-P3 color space. As a cheaper option, the manufacturer offers an IPS touch panel with support for a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. Both cases show support for ASUS Pen 2.0 touch input with 4096 degrees of depression.
In the basic configuration, the laptop can offer an energy-efficient six-core Intel Core i3-1315U processor with a frequency of up to 4.5 GHz and a nominal TDP of 15 W. In the maximum configuration, the novelty is equipped with a 14 -core Core i9-13900H with a frequency of up to 5.40 GHz and a TDP of 45 watts. The VivoBook S 16 Flip OLED does not have a dedicated graphics card. The graphics core built into the central processor (Intel UHD or Intel Iris Xe, depending on the CPU model) is responsible for graphics processing. The Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED can also offer up to 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD.
The Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED indicates support for the Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless standards. The novelty also received a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C connector with laptop charging and support for DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1 and a combined 3.5mm audio output. It also features a full-size ASUS ErgoSense keyboard. The OLED version of the laptop is powered by a 70Wh battery. The IPS version has a 50 Wh battery. The dimensions of the novelty are 356.05 × 253.1 × 19.6 mm, and the weight is 1.9 kg.
The Vivobook S 16 Flip OLED will be available in black and silver colors.
