The Edmonton Oilers (24-18-3) have been clicking on offense recently, and that success has led to a three-game winning streak. In their last three games – all on the road against divisional opponents, the Oilers went 3-0 while averaging 5.7 goals per game. They beat the Anaheim Ducks 6-2, the San Jose Sharks 7-3, then got by the Las Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in their most recent game on Saturday. On Tuesday night they’ll stay in the division but return home to Rogers Place, where they’ll host the Seattle Kraken in the third meeting between the two teams this year.

Both of the first two games have been high-scoring affairs for the winning team. In their first matchup on Dec. 30 in Seattle, the Oilers came away with a 7-2 win. Connor McDavid had a massive five-point performance, with a goal and four assists in that one.
A few days later on Jan. 3, the Kraken responded with a 5-2 win in Edmonton that was sparked by a four-goal second period. Seattle goalie Marin Jones came up big in that one, stopping 30 of the 32 shots he faced.
