Every January, thousands of tech companies come to Las Vegas to unveil their latest product, service or concept.
The annual CES event has seen dramatic announcements like DVD, 4K televisions and curved screens.
Not all products make it to retail shelves, and some go on to be bestsellers. Walking the halls of CES, these are the products that caught our eye.

Withings U-Scan
A well-known health tech brand, Withings has been creating products to track our well-being for years. From weight scales, wearables and temperature monitors, but now a new variant entirely.
The U-Scan is a urine lab for your home. It hangs in your toilet like a toilet duck, assesses your urine and provides data into the companion app on your smartphone.
The data tracked includes protein-vegetable balance, vitamin C levels and dehydration.
For females, cycle tracking and ovulation windows can also be managed.
Motion Pillow
A good night’s sleep is easily interrupted if you or your partner has a snoring problem. This smart pillow listens for the sounds of snoring, locates the position of your head and uses four built-in airbags to adjust you, opening your airwaves.
The Motion Pillow will also track your sleep data and record the snoring detection moments for replay.
While it is a gadget, when we held the Motion Pillow, we found it soft and comfortable.
ASKA A5
In what appears straight from the Jetsons, the A5 from ASKA is the world’s first four-seat electric vehicle that can travel by road and up to 400 kilometers by air.
The folding wings and propellers allow the A5 to commute on roads like an ordinary, but funny looking, vehicle.
When on a route where flight can be considered, the A5 unfolds and leaves the road avoiding traffic and anything in between you and your next destination.
ASKA expects the A5 to be on the road by 2026.
Kohler Smart Bathroom
A room in the house that is usually a tech-free environment is now connected to voice and internet services. With a Kohler smart bathroom, you will be able to control the shower with a command, including setting the temperature, flush your toilet and fill the bath.
The smart toilet in 2023 has customizable bidet functions, including an air dryer.
This year Kohler is adding infusion pods to shower heads, enabling you to have a day spa experience in your own home. Scents emit through the shower steam to set the mood and time of day when you might be looking to energize or unwind.
XRAI Smart Glasses
Looking like an ordinary pair of sunglasses, the XRAI, takes subtitles of the world around you and brings them into your field of vision.
Speaking with someone, watching TV, listening to the radio or even hearing another language. All of this can be translated to your desired language and presented on the see-through lens in real-time.
An incredible invention for those with hearing difficulties or traveling to a foreign country.
John Deere Autonomous Tractor
Preparing a field, planting seeds and harvesting are all time-consuming processes requiring a farmer to drive up and down an area.
As time is precious, John Deere has announced an autonomous tractor which is ready to be commanded and controlled from a smartphone remotely.
Using onboard cameras, sensors and GPS positioning, the tractor can precisely follow directions and be left to the task, allowing farmers to focus on other things.
