This week brings the turn of a new year, pink pants and cowboy boots. You truly never know what you’ll get on a week-to-week basis with the NBA Style Rankings.
One thing you should expect is a newcomer every week. Because of course we have fresh fits and faces for you.
Let’s take a look at the outfits during the final week of 2022.

Fournier’s looks usually have a more mature, worldly identity than most of the other players in these rankings. His brown quarter-zip sweater matches perfectly with his aviator shades. If you look closely enough, his sweater has hints of white fabric throughout that can almost double as snow.

Grant is turning into the go-to guy for oversized fits. He has a black sweater over a white collared shirt, a yellow beanie, a dark blue jacket and sweatpants. On paper, it might not sound like a cohesive fit, but Grant has an uncanny ability to pull things together that look much nicer on him than others.

Brown’s trench coat is by far the coolest I’ve seen this season. The designs resemble the Oaklandish trees, a design from a brand based in Oakland, Calif. Although Brown is from Georgia, he spent time in the Bay Area when attending a year at Cal.
The designs on this green trenchcoat are so vibrant that all Brown needed were black accessories.

Şengün’s Collusion sweatsuit is the highlight for me. Not a ton to break down, as it’s a sweatsuit with Collusion lettering all around, but it’s just so fresh. Şengün will continue to be on my radar with this fit. As for Smith, he’s sporting a Nelson Mandela graphic T-shirt, red Yeezys and Louis Vuitton luggage.

The pink pants clearly make this fit. Westbrook is rocking his own brand, Honor the Gift, for his shirt, too. Although the pants are without a doubt the focal point of this outfit, his shoes can’t be overlooked. He’s wearing Converses with a unique pink colorway that matches perfectly with the pants.

Dončić often does things on the court that make us realize he can do things that almost everyone else cannot. This cowboy fit is the latest example of the 23-year-old being able to do things everyone else just can’t. The cowboy hat and boots show he’s in a lane of his own.
If the swag isn’t enough for you, Dončić also averaged 35.1 points, 9.3 assists, 8.5 rebounds and 1.6 steals on 51.9 percent shooting from the field and 42.4 percent from 3 — in December.

South Beach swag might be second nature to James at this point. He spent four seasons in Miami with the Heat, and he indeed brought the heat in his return to Miami. The baby-blue button-down Marni shirt screams sunshine, palm trees and beaches. The black cursive is broken up with splashes of red and white, making it easy to wear with a pair of black pants.
James threw on the black shades and Air Force 1s, and we know he keeps an assortment of jewelry on his wrists. Looks like he has at least one Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet and a few chains.

Playboy apparel has become increasingly popular over the years, and this cardigan is nice. The most impressive part of this fit might be Oubre’s shoes. He has a clover on his left shoe and a spade on his right. Can’t forget the silver watch and pearl chain.
Oubre is averaging 20 points for the first time in his career, and he’s doing so in style.

Shoutout to Honor the Gift again, because this outfit wouldn’t be the same without those sweatpants from Westbrook’s brand. They’re white with black fences, making for a unique, eye-catching piece. Jackson threw on a black Givenchy shirt, black cardigan and two diamond chains for good measure.

I’m learning Alexander-Walker has an extremely robust collection of letterman jackets. With as many as we’ve already seen this season, I have to imagine he has a section of his closet dedicated solely to these jackets. This one, in particular, is a collaboration between Roots and Adidem Asterisks.
The brown bases and flashes of orange and green definitely give this a winter feel. Alexander-Walker found the perfect pair of orange pants that bring out the orange in his jacket.
