Lenovo isn’t the first name one thinks of when it comes to high-end, color-accurate monitors, but that will change soon. The company has now announced two mini-LED monitors called the ThinkVision 272pz-30 and ThinkVision P32pz-30, both of which are targeted at professionals. They will be up for grabs in August 2023 at a starting price of $1,699 and $1,999, respectively.
As their names suggest, the Lenovo ThinkVision P32pz-30 and ThinkVision P27pz-30 pack 32-inch and 27-inch mini-LED panels with 1,152 dimming zones. Both have a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, 1,200 nits peak brightness, 10-bit color support, DisplayHDR1000 compliance, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Other specs include 98% coverage of the DCI-P3, 99% Adobe RGB and 80% of the BT2020 color gamuts.
Connectivity options on the Lenovo ThinkVision P32pz-30 and ThinkVision P27pz-30 include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one USB 4.0 Type-C port, two DP 1.4 ports (in and out), one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, four USB Type-A ports to connect peripherals. A KVM switch is also included, allowing users to control multiple devices with one set of input peripherals. One can also charge power-hungry devices such as laptops via the included USB-C port.
